The Fender Custom Shop started in 1987. Now, 20 years later, it has become a world-renowned success and represents the pinnacle of the industry. To commemorate those first 20 amazing years, we’re proud to announce the Custom Shop LTD 20th Anniversary Master-Built 2007 Stratocaster guitar.
This guitar features some of the most oft-requested custom options we’ve received over the past 20 years, putting them all together in one guitar that packs a punch that exemplifies the SPIRIT OF ROCK-N-ROLL®! Highlights include a lightweight ash body, 20th Anniversary engraved neckplate, closet classic aging, thin-skin lacquer finish, quartersawn 9.5”-radius maple neck with a tinted lacquer finish and ’65 “C” neck backshape, bone nut, dark slab rosewood fingerboard with 21 Dunlop® 6105 frets, rolled fret edges, 1969 Custom Shop neck pickup, 1969 reverse-wound/ reverse-polarized middle pickup, Texas Special bridge pickup, ’66 big peg headstock, Custom Classic bridge, three-ply mint-green pickguard, Schaller® locking tuners, 5-way pickup selector switch and a limited edition case.
This guitar will be built by all of our acclaimed Master Builders, and specific builder requests will not be taken on this special run.
