Since the late 1960s, Winter has been cranking out some of the meanest and most spellbinding slide guitar ever recorded, and performing live, he can still blast searing, gut-wrenching blues without even breaking a sweat. For decades, Winter has relied on one guitar-a 1963 Gibson Firebird V. The Gibson Custom Shop Johnny Winter Signature Firebird V is a painstaking re-creation of this iconic electric guitar down to every last detail and feature. Nothing has been overlooked on the Gibson Firebird.
