 The Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis is a classic jazz guitar based on Herb's own Gibson ES-175. A single humbucker produces a warm jazz tone, and gold-plated metal parts impart a classy look. The ES-165 Herb Ellis features a maple/poplar/maple laminate body, sides and top; a Standard 175 profile, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard; a floating Jazz, Johnny Smith pickup with a gold cover; and body and neck binding. Includes a deluxe Gibson hardshell case.
